Meet the Team

Alex is a Queens native and SUNY Maritime alumnus. His sailing background is in tankers and he holds a USCG 1st Assistant Engineer license. After spending some time ashore as as a commissioning engineer, he started Initium Engineering to help connect maritime businesses with quality engineers.

Christian is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College and also holds a U.S. Navy commission in the Strategic Sealift Officer Force. He has sailed on Handysize and Panamax tankers, heavy-lift ships, container ships, tugs, and other inland vessels, and has worked as an engineer ashore at a few shipyards.
